With a fresh release hot off the press as of 03/20/21 8:00pm est, Quadeca seems to be back on the ground and running with his newest single “Sisyphus” linked below.
This nearly 5 minute track features many looks at the new direction Quadeca has been taking his music in. I was immediately drawn in from the start with gorgeous vocals, later opening up into heavier insturmentation with heavy 808’s and that “new school distortion”. Despite the heavier bits, the track is highlighted by airy vocals and an openess perfectly accompanying the visuals of nature from the video. After doing some research and understanding the title of the song referencing to Greek Mythology, a 2nd listen helped me to catch several clever metaphors and references; both through lyrics, and visualization of the music video. I throughly enjoyed this track, and it was a true breath of fresh air. The very ending also briefly teased the date 03/31/21 but gave no indication of what to expect. We will all be eagerly awaiting to find out what is in store.
Even more excitedly, this is just 1 track off of Quadeca’s newest project releasing at the Beginning of April titled “From You To Me”. Quadeca has given clear indications that this project is concept based, and will continue to give insight into the new sound design and style he has been meticulously crafting over the prior year and change. On several occasions in YouTube videos he has stated that he was working hard on his singing abilities, and finding his own definitive sound. From the samples heard so far, it appears that the hard work has been paying off. From all facets the quality of work has sky rocketed and without placing undue pressure, this appears to be a breakout project in the making that could put Quadeca on the main stage along side other big up and coming names such as Jack Harlow and Smino.

Now it’s OUT, what are your thoughts on the ALBUM?
